Do you watch shows such as Ghost Adventures or Dead Files and wonder what happens behind the scenes of paranormal investigations? How does one conduct a paranormal investigation? Do you need to be psychic, or gifted, to investigate paranormal phenomena? Do entities, spirits, or ghosts follow you home after doing an investigation?
Join me today as I talk with Jeff Santos of Virginia Paranormal Investigations about how he was introduced to the paranormal, the equipment that his team uses to investigate a location, one of his craziest investigations that he can't explain, why they do most of their investigations at night, and his take on entities becoming attached to humans.
Jeff Santos, Founder of Virginia Paranormal Investigations, is part of an investigative research team based in Poquoson, Va. Jeff has had a strong interest in the paranormal since he was a child. His teenage years were spent driving around the Brandywine Valley on the Delaware border, exploring urban legends and dark roads.
In 2008, while in the U.S. Air Force, Jeff, along with Scott Forsythe, formed Virginia Paranormal Investigations. The team went on to collect and investigate all reports of paranormal activity. Though their area of research is not limited to ghosts, spiritual activity and hauntings do consume most of their attention. Virginia Paranormal Investigations has investigated many historic places, urban legends, and private residences throughout Virginia and some surrounding states.
